Terms & Conditions

Customer Care Policy
Thank you for choosing Bradley's Quality Cleaning.
To help us provide the best possible service, please note the following important information before leaving your items with us.
Garment Care

Garments are cleaned according to the manufacturer's care label instructions where available.

Items without care labels will be cleaned using professional judgement at the owner's risk.

We cannot accept responsibility for damage resulting from missing, incorrect or misleading care labels.
Wear & Tear
-
We cannot accept responsibility for damage caused by normal wear and tear.
-
This includes weakened fabrics, worn areas, thinning material, loose seams and pre-existing damage.
-
Customers should inform us of any existing damage before cleaning.
Buttons & Fastenings
-
We cannot accept responsibility for loose, weakened, damaged or missing buttons.
-
Buttons, press studs, hooks, fastenings and zips may become detached during the cleaning process due to age, wear, weakened stitching or manufacturing defects.

Customers should remove any spare buttons attached to garments before cleaning.
Stain Removal
-
While every effort is made to remove stains, complete stain removal cannot be guaranteed.
-
Some stains may be permanent due to age, fabric composition, previous treatment or chemical reactions.
Decorative Items
-
Garments with beads, sequins, rhinestones, pearls, crystals, diamantes or decorative trims are cleaned at the owner's risk.
Colour Loss & Bleeding
-
Some garments may experience colour loss or colour transfer due to unstable dyes or manufacturing defects.
-
Garments containing contrasting colours may be particularly susceptible to colour bleeding.
Curtains
-
Curtains may have weakened fabrics, linings or backing materials due to prolonged exposure to sunlight.
-
Cleaning may reveal fading, cause shrinkage or result in deterioration of weakened linings.
-
We cannot guarantee curtains will remain the exact same size after cleaning.

We cannot restore colours that have faded due to sunlight exposure.
Pockets
-
Customers must check all pockets before submitting garments.

Bradley's Quality Cleaning is not responsible for money, jewellery, electronics, documents or other items left inside clothing.
Duvets
-
All duvet cleaning services must be paid for in advance.
Self-Service Laundry
-
Laundry tablets are not permitted in our washing machines.
-
Detergent is available from reception.
-
Machines are used at the customer's risk.
Collection Policy
-
Items must be collected within 3 months of completion.
-
After 3 months, Bradley's Quality Cleaning cannot accept responsibility for uncollected items.
Claims
-
Any claim for loss or damage must be reported within 48 hours of collection.
Liability
-
Compensation for loss or damage is limited to 5 times the cleaning charge or £100 per garment (whichever is lower).
Full Terms & Conditions
The following Terms & Conditions apply to all services provided by Bradley's Quality Cleaning, whether items are submitted directly in store or through an authorised collection point.
Customers are encouraged to read these Terms & Conditions carefully before using our services.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By leaving garments or items with Bradley's Quality Cleaning, customers agree to these Terms & Conditions.
2. Customer Responsibilities
Customers must:

Check all pockets before submitting garments.

Inform staff of delicate fabrics.
-
Notify staff of any existing damage or special cleaning instructions.
Failure to provide this information may result in cleaning being carried out at the owner's risk.
3. Items Left in Pockets
Bradley's Quality Cleaning is not responsible for items left inside garments including:

Money
-
Jewellery
-
Electronics
-
Documents
4. Cleaning Process
Garments will be cleaned according to manufacturer care label instructions where available.
If a garment does not have a care label, cleaning will be performed using professional judgement at the owner's risk.
Cleaning methods are selected based on:

Fabric composition
-
Garment construction
-
Trims and accessories
-
Professional experience
5. Pre-Existing Damage
Bradley's Quality Cleaning cannot accept responsibility for damage caused by pre-existing conditions including:

Weak or worn fabrics
-
Thinning material
-
Previous stains
-
Worn seams
-
Loose buttons, zips or decorations
6. Wear and Tear
We are not responsible for damage resulting from normal wear and tear, including:

Loose or missing buttons
-
Weak fibres
-
Small tears
-
Worn fabric areas
Cleaning may reveal weaknesses not visible before processing.
7. Buttons and Fastenings
Bradley's Quality Cleaning cannot accept responsibility for the loss of or damage to buttons, press studs, hooks, fasteners, zips, clasps or similar attachments where such loss or damage results from normal wear and tear, weakened stitching, age, manufacturing defects or prior damage.
Customers are advised to remove any spare buttons supplied with garments before cleaning.
8. Stain Removal
While professional stain removal methods are used, complete stain removal cannot be guaranteed.
9. Colour Fading and Dye Instability
Some garments may experience colour fading or colour transfer due to unstable dyes or manufacturing defects.
Garments containing contrasting colours may experience colour bleeding during cleaning.
10. Fabric Weakness from External Causes
Bradley's Quality Cleaning cannot accept responsibility for fabric deterioration caused by:

Sunlight exposure
-
Perspiration
-
Deodorant
-
Perfume
-
Previous cleaning attempts
11. Decorative Trims
Garments with decorative items such as beads, sequins, crystals, rhinestones, pearls or buckles are cleaned at the owner's risk.
12. Curtains – Special Conditions
Curtains are often exposed to sunlight which may weaken fabrics and cause fading.
Cleaning may reveal faded areas caused by sunlight exposure.
Curtain linings may deteriorate during cleaning due to ageing and sunlight damage.
Curtains may also shrink during cleaning due to fabric composition and long-term exposure to sunlight.
Bradley's Quality Cleaning cannot guarantee curtains will remain the exact same size after cleaning.
13. Alterations
Altered garments cannot be returned or refunded once collected.
Customers must check fit upon collection and report any issues within 24 hours.
14. Self-Service Laundry Machines
Customers using coin-operated machines do so at their own risk.
Laundry tablets are not permitted in our washing machines.
Detergent is available from reception for a small charge.
Bradley's Quality Cleaning is not responsible for damage caused by incorrect machine use or items left unattended.
15. Duvet Cleaning
All duvet cleaning services must be paid in advance before processing.
16. Payment
All services must be paid in full before collection unless otherwise agreed.
17. Collection Policy
Items must be collected within 3 months of completion.
After this time Bradley's Quality Cleaning cannot accept responsibility for uncollected items, which may be donated, recycled or disposed of.
18. Claims
Any claim for loss or damage must be reported within 48 hours of collection together with the original receipt.
19. Liability Limit
Compensation for loss or damage will be limited to:
5 times the cleaning charge or £100 per garment, whichever is lower.
Where proof of purchase is unavailable, Bradley's Quality Cleaning may determine a fair market value based on the age and condition of the garment.
Bradley's Quality Cleaning is not responsible for sentimental value, consequential loss, loss of earnings or indirect losses.
20. Right to Refuse Service
Bradley's Quality Cleaning reserves the right to refuse service for items that:

Present hygiene risks
-
Are excessively soiled
-
May damage cleaning equipment
21. Statutory Rights
These Terms & Conditions do not affect your statutory rights under UK consumer law.
22. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
Returns and Refunds
Dry Cleaning and Laundry Services
Due to the nature of dry cleaning, laundry and garment care services, completed services cannot normally be returned.
Refunds will not normally be provided simply because:

A stain has not been completely removed.
-
A garment remains creased.
-
The customer expected a different outcome.
-
Existing wear, damage or deterioration becomes visible after cleaning.
Re-Clean Policy
Where appropriate, Bradley's Quality Cleaning may offer a complimentary re-clean or re-press.
Requests for re-cleaning must be made within 48 hours of collection.
The garment must not have been worn after collection.
Alterations
Any concerns regarding alterations must be reported within 24 hours of collection.
Where an alteration has not been completed according to the agreed instructions, Bradley's Quality Cleaning may offer:

A corrective alteration; or
-
A partial or full refund at its discretion.
Refunds will not normally be provided where:
-
Measurements supplied by the customer were incorrect.
-
The customer changes their mind after the work has been completed.
-
The garment no longer fits due to weight fluctuation or body shape changes.
Circumstances Where Refunds Will Not Normally Be Provided
Refunds will not normally be provided for:
-
Stains that cannot be removed.
-
Wear and tear revealed during cleaning.
-
Missing or damaged buttons.
-
Decorative trims affected during cleaning.
-
Colour loss caused by unstable dyes.
-
Curtain shrinkage or deterioration of weakened linings.
-
Damage resulting from missing or incorrect care labels.
-
Items cleaned at the owner's risk.
-
Claims reported outside the stated reporting periods.
Statutory Rights
Nothing in this Returns and Refunds section affects your statutory rights under UK consumer law.
